Listed here are 5 things to know about SBI charges for non-maintenance of average monthly balance:

SBI has lowered the costs on minimum balance to Rs. 15 plus GST for metro and concrete customers. For semi-urban and rural centres, the charges have already been reduced from Rs. 40 each month plus GST to Rs. 12 monthly and Rs. 10 monthly plus GST respectively, said SBI in their release.

The modern charges are applicable from April 1, 2018, said SBI.

Based on the release, the applicable GST is added to SBI new charges.
